It is almost always, not only in a downpour. For now it is good, but sometimes. When hiking in this region, we begin to truly understand the seasons and microclimate. I love it, back into the canyon on foot and really left the city.

For example, I live in Pasadena and is only on the upper lake, park and go past the end of the street in Angeles Forest. Or get busy at the top of Fair Oaks, Cheney, timetables, one miles from Millard Canyon and the increase from east to west through the fall or downstream to the laboratory for jet propulsion.

And Griffith Park is in town for a day hike, which could literally take the bus. The torturers, the Santa Monica Mountains. Everyone here - how exciting!

Main roads in the San Gabriel Mountains to see the tracks of the Angel Robinson and books to walk back to Los Angeles to track harmful information. You can visit REI. A16 or large bookstores.

I like Malibu Creek State Park, Santiago Oaks Park Reginal Carbon Canyon Regional Park, Angeles Crest, and MT. Baldy. Always carry plenty of water, a windbreaker (with rain), snacks like trail mix or granola bars and a cell phone. Wear sturdy shoes and watch out for rattlesnakes. If you walk alone .. Always had someone knows where to go and how much time lost.

The Santa Monica Mountains and the track guns that are beautiful. But for the beginner, take a look at Malibu Creek State Park on the corner of Mulholland and Malibu Canyon.
